Studio etiquette

We strive to make Good Forme Pilates a clean and welcoming space for all. The studio is founded on a deep respect for the practices we teach and for people who make up our community. Please follow these simple guidelines to ensure a pleasant experience for everyone:

Advanced bookings strongly encouraged

Please book/cancel group class in advance. Avoid the disappointment of a full class and allow others to book a class you are not attending.

Be on time

Please be on time for classes. If delayed, send a text to 705-304-5855 to inform the instructor and quietly join the class without disruption.

Shoes

Please leave shoes at the designated area by entryway.

What to wear

Please wear something you can move easily in, and avoid wearing zippered pants as they can damage our equipment.

For hygiene purposes, socks are required for all classes. For all reformer and barre classes, grip socks are required for traction. If you don't have a pair or forget yours at home, we have grip socks available for purchase.

Cell phones

Please refrain from using your mobile device at the studio, have them on silent or turned off to avoid disruptions.

Injury

If you are dealing with an injury or limitations, please advise instructor prior to the session or class.

Hands on adjustments

To ensure proper technique, instructors may offer hands on adjustments. If you do not wish to receive any hands on adjustments, please let the instructor know before class.
